Here is the magic formula: Authenticity + Value = Freedom.

If you don’t like the job or career you are in then you probably didn’t follow this formula. I think it happens to most of us. I did it. I compromised my authenticity for a good paycheck. What does that mean? It means I choose my career based on the financial rewards and I betrayed myself by not following my heart and doing what I knew I loved to do at the time. I was also very afraid to do what I loved to do. I couldn’t see how I would earn a good living. I couldn’t see the value of my own dreams, and I was lacking the confidence to get there.

So here are some things to think about to get you started:

#1 Focus on being Authentic. Never do something for the money. Never do something that you don’t like doing. Ask yourself these questions: What do I love to do? What is important to me? What do I do naturally and consistently? What do I do that I love to do that sometimes annoys people because I do it too much?

#2 Figure out how to create Value for people. Ask yourself these questions: How can I save people time, money, effort or headache? How can I help a million people? How have I helped someone in the past? How can I reach the right people? Can I use the internet to reach the right people? How can I use leverage to maximize my earnings?

#3 Build confidence, accept fear. Focus on what you have, not what you don’t have. Change your words. Question limiting beliefs.
